Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping, fulfilment, returns, and support guidance for custom PCB manufacturing, IoT hardware, and related ExpandoWorks orders.

Shipping Details

Fabrication & Processing Times

Custom PCBs typically take 3 to 7 business days after design approval, in-stock Kyber hardware is generally processed within 1 to 2 business days, and SMT assembly lead times are quoted per project.

Shipping Rates & Destinations

ExpandoWorks ships nationwide from Johannesburg, offers international shipping on request, and allows local collection from Fourways by arrangement.

Tracking & Customs

Dispatch notifications include a tracking number, and international recipients remain responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.

Returns & Refunds

Custom Manufactured Products

Custom PCB and SMT orders are non-refundable unless there is a verified manufacturing defect against the supplied design files. Report technical issues within 7 days for review.

Hardware & IoT Sensors

Unopened standard hardware may be returned within 14 days, a restocking fee may apply, and ExpandoWorks hardware carries a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects under normal operation.

Returns & Support Process

To begin a return or report a defect, email sales@expandoworks.com with the order number, a short issue description, and supporting photos where relevant. Technical support is encouraged before returning connected hardware.

Returns & Refunds

Custom PCB orders are made to specification.

Custom PCB orders are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds once accepted for review, procurement, tooling, manufacturing, assembly, or any other production step. Defective or non-conforming work caused by ExpandoWorks will still be assessed under applicable South African law and our returns process.
